HPTi's Five Core Capabilities

Computational Science – HPTi computational scientists are at the forefront of high performance scientific computing and high-end physical modeling, bridging the gap between basic research and applied R&D. We have a long legacy of working with our nation's research and development community on programs that keep our nation at the forefront of science.

Enterprise Technology and Planning – Our knowledge leaders work with our customers to envision a program from concept through deployment and support. By applying architecture planning, program management, and technology insight, we guide our clients through a complex maze of decisions to achieve their mission.

Systems Architecture and Engineering – Successful major-systems acquisitions rely on two key elements—using foundational architecture and adhering to the discipline of systems engineering. HPTi helps to design and develop systems architectures and install systems engineering methodologies for systems ranging from tactical, single-user systems to multi-billion-dollar programs such as the Army's Future Combat System.

Secure Mission Software Development – Our client's missions vary from initiating and routing highly sensitive Internet-based financial transactions to producing and analyzing human intelligence for the U.S. Intelligence Community. We apply CMMI Level 3 processes to achieve process improvement and Baldrige-compliant processes to deliver high quality and secure solutions.

Knowledge Discovery and Visualization – Knowledge discovery and visualization enables our customers to gain insight from myriad information sources. HPTi specializes in designing and developing tools and applications that enable our intelligence agencies to identify threats, solutions, or countermeasures as early as possible.
