Integrity

The HPTi coaster has the five HPTi core values arranged in a puzzle with Integrity at the center. All of our core values radiate from Integrity—it holds the others together. Integrity isn't just your words; it's not even limited to your actions; it is a state of being. Integrity is not some task you can check off of your to-do list; it is a belief that comes from within each person. It is that small voice that helps you decide whether to honor your commitment to finish that deliverable by the weekend or knock off early and enjoy your Friday afternoon.

Ironically, because integrity is so central to who we are, it is only when we are struggling with its consequences that we really stop and think about it. It would be nice to think that integrity keeps us from ever straying from our word, but we are human and we must extend integrity to apply to those times when we do falter.

Integrity is when we have the courage to admit we were wrong, and then make things right. We all screw up on occasion, but if we have integrity, we will make amends. Integrity is not an end we strive toward—it is the beginning. We remain true to ourselves, and as a consequence, we spark success. Like any rare commodity, people and companies that stay true to their word are in short supply and highly sought after. That is why at HPTi our word is our commitment.
